Can anyone make sense of why Willdan Group (Wldn) went down almost 14% on Friday even though it beat its estimates and made a good % on money earned? I checked the news I had available and no where's does it explain why it lost so much in one day after positive financial results. This smells bad and looks like a criminal event. Been through this before and later a class action suit develoipes. Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this company? Thank you.

Glass half empty OR half full?
 ---------------------------------------------
The effective tax rate for the third quarter of 2017 was 30.9% compared to only 18.2% in the same period of 2016.

Total general and administrative expenses for the nine months ended September 29, 2017 were $46.0 million, an increase of 18.7% from $38.7 million for the prior year period, primarily due to an increase in general and administrative expenses to support the growth of the Energy Efficiency Services segment.

Willdan reported $5.6 million in cash and cash equivalents at September 29, 2017, as compared to $22.7 million at December 30, 2016.

Thank you Four. Looks like tax liabilities, and admin expenses, along with making less, looks like why their price plummeted so far. I still like their future with their business they do. They just need to tighten their financial ship up better. I will stay “long” for a while and see how they can stabilize things and get back to accelerating their growth. Thanks again for replying to my question.
